Dr. Silverstein is a pioneering clinical neurophysiologist and CEO of Neuro Protective Solutions who has spent two decades advancing surgical safety. He is renowned for developing groundbreaking monitoring techniques, notably introducing saphenous nerve SSEPs to protect patients during spine surgeries and creating methods to track urinary function during surgery. As a testament to his immense impact on our field, he is a highly decorated leader and researcher who recently received the ASNM Most Outstanding Publication Award in both 2023 and 2025, as well as the prestigious ASNM Founders Award in 2024.
